The commander of the submarine brigade of the Soviet Northern Fleet of the Red Navy, Rear Admiral Nikolai Vinogradov.
Nikolay Ignatievich Vinogradov was born in 1905. He graduated from the Higher Naval School named after Frunze in 1930. During the Great Patriotic War commanded a submarine brigade, then he was the head of scuba diving in the Northern Fleet, in 1943-1945, the deputy chief and the head of the diving of the Navy.
