Spanish volunteers from the 250th Wehrmacht division with a banner. The division was also called “División Azul” – the “blue division” because of the color of the shirts of the Spanish phalangists. The division, among others, occupied the defense of German Army near Leningrad. The division of Spanish volunteers was formed on June 24, 1941 in Madrid, by October 20, 1943 was withdrawn from the Eastern Front and disbanded.
