Russian tanks destroyed in Ukraine, BT-7M and T-34 during the Battle for the city of Nemirov, Western Ukraine, Soviet Russia. Operation Barbarossa, Eastern Front, World War II.

In the foreground is the BT-7M light combat vehicle from the Armored Forces of the Red Army. It is known that the tank has a tactical sign “A-3” on the turret, that is, an armored vehicle from the 1st platoon of the 1st company of the 1st battalion.
The tank was shot down on June 24, 1941 on Magerovskaya Street near the House of the Judge and the police station. In the background is a T-34 medium tank with an L-11 cannon, manufactured in 1940. During the battle, this armored vehicle rammed a residential building on Skhidny Vala Street to hide from artillery fire.
After the battle, the Wehrmacht soldiers moved the tank to the square near the House of the Judge.
Russian tanks destroyed in Ukraine from the 53rd Tank Regiment of the 81st Motorized Division of the 4th Mechanized Corps of the 6th Army of the Southwestern Front of the Red Army.
