Lieutenant Colonel Julian Dlussky

 

Lieutenant Colonel Julian Pavlovich Dlussky, born in 1909, commanded the 1028th artillery regiment of the 52nd Infantry Division of the Red Army from August 30, 1943 to March 14, 1944.
In the Red Army, Julian Dlussky since 1929, in 1940 he was awarded the Order of the Red Star. He began the Great Patriotic War on the Western Front, then fought on the South-Western, Steppe, 2nd Ukrainian and 3rd Ukrainian fronts.
On March 14, 1944, Julian Dlussky died in the battle for the village of Novo-Petrovka in the Ustinovsky district of the Kirovograd region. He was posthumously awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 1st degree.
