Lunch of captured German officers from the Nazi Wehrmacht in the Soviet Krasnogorsk special operational transit camp No. 27.

Krasnogorsk special camp number 27 was established on March 7, 1942. For 8 years of its existence, from 1942 to 1950, about 50 thousand prisoners of war of 23 nationalities passed through the camp. In this camp were practically all representatives of the leadership of the states that fought against the Soviet Union. Of the 625 generals captured by the Red Army in 1941-1945, 530 people passed through Krasnogorsk, of which 174 were German generals.

Krasnogorsk special camp number 27 organizationally consisted of three zones: 1st zone – officer, 2nd zone – Central anti-fascist school, 3rd zone – working.
