Japanese Zero fighters

 

Japanese Zero fighters from the second wave of attacks on the US naval base at Pearl Harbor before takeoff from the Akagi aircraft carrier. The Second World War.

The first wave took off at 06:00 and consisted of 183 aircraft. Aircraft of the second wave, consisting of 170 aircraft, took off from Japanese aircraft carriers at 07:15. The second wave consisted of 54 B5N2 Kate horizontal bombers, 78 D3A1 Val dive bombers and 35 A6M2 Zero fighters.
