Japanese sailors

 

Japanese sailors of the Akagi aircraft carrier install protection against fragments of artillery shells and aerial bombs on the superstructure of their warship.
Japanese sailors hung the superstructure from the port side with sandbags, the battle bridge of the ship was especially carefully covered. In addition, the bags protected the radio room and the central fire control post. Rangefinders were protected from fragments by hanging ropes.
