German girl Inge on the Kiev beach: Excellent snow-white sand, no worse than in the resorts on the Baltic Sea.
This is the sixth photo of the German girl from the Nazi propaganda report “A Young Girl Came to Kiev” (“Ein junges Mädchen kommt nach Kiew”), published in the Berlin newspaper “Berliner Illustrierte Zeitung” on October 22, 1942. The heroine of the report is a 19-year-old German girl Inge, who came to Kiev to work in a German company (apparently, Inge is a Volksdeutsche). Eight photographs of the reportage show Inge’s day in Kiev: arrival, accommodation in a hotel, shopping, a visit to the beach, lunch at a restaurant and cafe, as well as the first exit to work.
