The Canadian Chilliwack Corvette (HMCS Chilliwack) sails along the coast.

Chilliwack corvette, the board number is K131, class – Flower. Built in Canada.
The Chilliwack Corvette began construction on July 3, 1940, launched on September 3, 1940, accepted into the Canadian Navy on April 8, 1941.

The HMCS Chilliwack was used in the North Atlantic to escort Allied naval convoys between Halifax and the Western approaches (convoys SC, ON, HX, ONS). It participated in the sinking of the German U-356 submarine.

The HMCS Chilliwack was withdrawn from the Canadian Navy in 1946.
