American senator

US Congress member Alben W. Barkley of Kentucky, a member of the US Congressional Commission on the Investigation of Nazi Crimes, in the Buchenwald concentration camp near the bodies of the deceased prisoners.
The American occupation administration forcibly brought people from Weimar, near Buchenwald, to the camp, most of whom stated that they knew nothing about this camp.
