Soviet Yak-3 fighter of the Normandie-Niemen regiment preparing for the flight to France. The airfield on the outskirts of Stuttgart, in June 1945.

After the end of World War II Soviet union gave France 41 fighter Yak-3, which had fought the French pilots of the Normandie-Niemen regiment.
June 20, 1945 French pilots on those planes flew home. Yak-3 were on the French armament until 1956.
