World War 2 Photo – Damcheev Bato Mikishkevich – front-line scout from the 23rd Guards separate reconnaissance company of the 27th Guards Rifle Division.
Bato Damcheev – Full Knight of the Order “Glory”. Buryat. He started the war as a sniper, but then went to scouts.
Presumably the picture was taken in 1944.
