Fighter Yak-3 from the Normandie-Niemen regiment at the airport of Stuttgart (Germany) runs serviced by the Soviet technical staff before flying to France.
After the war, 41 combat aircraft Yak 3, which had fought the French pilots from the Normandie-Niemen regiment, was donated to the French.
June 20, 1945 French pilots on those planes returned to their homeland. These Yak3 fighters were in the French armament until 1956.
