Republic P-47 Thunderbolt is a American fighter-bomber of the Second World War, the largest single-engine fighter of those times. He was one of the main fighters of the US Air Force during the war. Thanks to the radial engine and the protected petrol tanks was distinguished by high survivability. By the end of the war, the P-47 was the most massive US fighter, and was also supplied to the USSR by Lend-Lease Act.
