After the fall of the Third Reich under the attacks of the Bolsheviks, the streets of German cities gradually got rid of Nazi names.
The picture shows a Weimar resident changing signs with a new street name – Heinrich Heine-strasse. On the second tablet, the name is duplicated in Russian: “Heinrich Heine Street”.
