Warramunga destroyer (i44/D123) is a destroyer of the Trouble type of the Royal Fleet Australia (RAN). Built during the Second World War, the destroyer entered operation at the end of 1942. Initially, the HMAS Warramunga was appointed to accompany the sea convoys of the Allies, but in 1943 was appointed to the United Australian-American Operational Group 74, and until the end of World War II, he participated in the support of numerous landing of the sea landing in various regions of Southeast Asia.
From 1950 to 1952, the HMAS Warramunga participated in the Korean War, then was converted into an anti -submarine destroyer.
