SS Obersturmbannfuehrer (lieutenant colonel) Adolf Eichmann, head of the B-4 department of the Main Directorate of Imperial Security of Nazi Germany, personally responsible for the so-called “Final Solution of the Jewish Question” (Endlösung der Judenfrage).
After the fall of Nazi Germany, Adolf Eichmann managed to escape from the special services and moved to Argentina. In 1958, the Israeli intelligence “Mossad” tracked down Eichmann, two years later, as a result of a special operation, he was captured by a group of Israeli agents and secretly taken to Israel. In 1962, by the verdict of the court, Eichmann was recognized as a war criminal and hanged.
