Pokryshev Petr Afanasievich – a participant in the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940, the Great Patriotic War from the first days. A total of 282 combat sorties, participated in 50 air battles, shot down 22 enemy aircraft personally and 7 in the group. The title of Hero of the Soviet Union was awarded in February and August 1943.
