Canadian Snowberry Corvette (HMCS Snowberry) in 1942.

Snowberry Corvette, the board number K166, class – Flower. Built in the UK.

The construction of the Snowberry Corvette started on February 24, 1940, launched on August 8, 1940, accepted into the Canadian Navy on November 26, 1940.

The Snowberry Corvette was used in the Atlantic to escort Allied naval convoys and in groups of submarine hunter ships.
The Snowberry Corvette participated in the sinking of a German U-536 submarine.

The Snowberry Corvette was withdrawn from the Canadian Navy on June 8, 1945 and returned to Great Britain.
