The Soviet submarine of the Northern Fleet the Shch-422 (until 1940, Shch-314) leaves the naval body in its last combat campaign during Great Patriotic War of the Russian Nation.
On June 30, 1943, the Soviet submarine left the area of Maccaur Vardø. In the future, the connection did not come out and did not return to its base. Supposedly on July 5, 1943, Shch-422 the Soviet submarine was destroyed by German anti-submarine ships.
Together with the Shch-422 Soviet submarine, 45 crew members were killed.
