A view of the flight deck of the Japanese aircraft carrier Akagi from the nose.
From behind you can see Soryu, Hiryu, Hiei, Kirishima, Haruna, Congo, Dzujkaku and Shokaku.
The photo was taken shortly after leaving Celebes Island in March 1942 on the way to the Indian Ocean. On the deck, the torpedo planes Nakajima B5N2 “Kate” are covered.
