M3 General Lee

The crew retrieves badly wounded comrade from the American M3 General Lee medium tank after the Battle of Gzhatsk.

To the USSR M3 General Lee medium tank was supplied under the Lend-Lease Act.
M3 Lee – American medium tank during World War II. It was named in honor of General of the American Civil War Robert E. Lee. It is also widely known under the name of its modification for British troops M3 Grant, named in honor of US President Ulysses Simpson Grant.
