The corpses of SS-brigadeführer Ernst Fisk and his driver from the Waffen SS lie on the side of the road opposite the entrance to the Murnau concentration camp.
On April 29, 1945, the German headquarters vehicle ran into an armored convoy of the 12th US tank division, whose units were busy liberating a concentration camp. Leading a tank shot the car with a machine gun. On the left is the body of the inspector for the ideological training of the SS-brigadeführer Ernst Fick, on the right – his driver.
