The Bronze Horseman

 

The Bronze Horseman under the protective constructions at the time of the Nazi-siege of Leningrad city during the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet Russia.

The Bronze Horseman is a monument to Tsar Peter I on the Senate Square in St. Petersburg. Its opening was held on 7 (18) in August 1782.
