The body of the German driver of the personal car of the General Friedrich Kussin, who was shot by British soldiers.

Major General Friedrich Kussin (1895-1944) was the commandant of the Garrison of Arnhem. September 17, 1944 between 16 and 17 hours at the fork in the road Osterbeyk-Wolfheze, his gray car “Citroen” was fired by soldiers of the 5th platoon of 3 parachute battalion of the British. The general, his driver and batman were killed on the spot.
