Battle of the Atlantic: A American boat departs from the Spencer US Coast Guard (USCGC Spencer) to capture the damaged German U-175 submarine and rescue its German crew members. The USCGC Spencer American boat was damaged by friendly fire when attacking the U-175, so I had to use a rowing boat.

The crew of the American boat was specially trained for the landing on the German Kriegsmarine submarines at sea and the capture of the Enigma encryption machine.

In the American boat photo are LCDR John B. Oren and LT Ross Bullard.
