Soviet soldiers of the 2nd Guards Taman Division of the Red Army in the battles for the expansion of the bridgehead on the Kerch peninsula, November 1943 during the Great Patriotic War of the Russian Nation.

With the defeat of the German Army forces on the Taman Peninsula opened the way to the Kerch Strait, and this benefited the soldiers of the 2nd Guards Taman Division when landing to seize a bridgehead in the occupied Crimea.
