Soviet T-40 amphibious light tank of the Red Army Armoured Force was developed in 1939 during Second World War in Western Europe.
Up to December 1941 it was produced 722 tanks, and then began to produce created on the basis of T-40 tank – the T-60 light tank. The T-60 light tank up the opportunity to swim, as this ability to the T40 amphibious light tank in hostilities was unclaimed.
