Holocaust: In April-May 1943, an uprising of prisoners occurred in the Warsaw ghetto, which was brutally suppressed by the Nazis.
In the picture, the SS punishers and the SD staff interrogate a group of Jews to decide their future fate.
A Nazi in the foreground, with an SD shoulder patch and a Bergmann MP-28 submachine gun on his shoulder – the SS-Rottenführe Josef Blösche is a famous executioner.
