An unknown SS guard from the Nazi concentration camp Buchenwald, who was beaten and hanged by prisoners for his atrocities.
The SS guard picture was taken by US military photojournalist Elizabeth Miller after the liberation of the Buchenwald concentration camp by the US Army.
