Battle of Berlin

Soviet soldiers from the Red Army Infantry are running across the street to a new firing position in the Battle of Berlin.
The figure of the murdered German sergeant from RAD (Reichs Arbeit Dienst, pre-conscription labor service) in the foreground is noteworthy. It is also present in several other photos from the Battle of Berlin, including those taken elsewhere, for example, on the famous photo near the Brandenburg Gate.
