“Soviet soldiers of Red Army engineering troops are building a bridge on the outskirts of Vyborg city” – an inscription under a photograph in the exposition of the Museum of Artillery, Engineer and Signal Corps in the city of St. Petersburg. The offensive near Vyborg was conducted in the summer of 1944.
On the bridge already built, the Studebaker truck US6 is moving. In parallel to the constructed bridge, to the right and left of it, two bridges are being constructed to increase the carrying capacity in the delivery of cargo and troops, as well as the passage of military equipment.
