Sergey Mikhailovich Fedyakov (1920-2009) participated in the Great Patriotic War from the fall of 1942. He fought in the 872nd assault aviation regiment on the Volkhov, and then on the Leningrad fronts. From September 1942 to November 1944 committed 158 (according to some sources – 276) combat sorties. The title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal (No. 4477) was added to Sergei Fedyakov on August 19, 1944.
