Captain N.M. Skomorokhov fought in the 31st Fighter Aviation Regiment. Twice Hero of the Soviet Union (decrees of February 23, 1945 and August 18, 1945). He made 605 sorties, conducted more than 130 air battles, shot down 46 enemy aircraft in person and 8 in the group.
