The armament of the IT-28 is two machine guns mounted on the frontal plates of the conning tower.
IT-28 is engineering bridge tank (tank bridge-layer) of the interwar period. It was developed in 1936-1940 on the chassis of the T-28 medium tank. The only prototype of the IT-28, built in 1940, passed field tests, but was not accepted for mass production.
