Douglas A-20 Havoc

 

Soviet crew of Douglas A-20 Havoc medium bomber of the US production in the service of Red Army Air Force. The commander is the deputy regiment commander, Major General George A. Osipov. The Eastern Front of the Second World War in Europe.

The Douglas A-20 Havoc bomber from the 221th Bomber BAKHMACH of the Order of Suvorov Air Division, the 6th mixed Lublin The Red Air Corps (which is why on the aircraft such emblem), the 16th Air Army, Belorussian Front of the Red Army.

The US-made A-20 Havoc bombers (DB-7 Boston) were supplied to the Soviet Union in large numbers under the Lend-Lease Act, and have shown themselves excellent fighting machines that respect and in aviation and ground forces.
