Soviet Colonel NS Vasin dines with US Vice President Henry Wallace and Colonel Russell Keiller

 

Soviet Colonel N. S. Vasin, the commander of the air regiment, who was involved in the transportation of aircraft under the Lend-Lease Act through Alaska to the USSR, dines with US Vice President Henry A. Wallace and Colonel Russell Keiller at Ladd Field in Fairbanks, Alaska (Ladd Field, Fairbanks, Alaska).

Colonel Russell Keiller was Commandant of Ladd Field Airfield. Aviation regiment of the Red Army Air Force under the command of Colonel N. S. Vasin was located in Nome, Alaska.

Henry A. Wallace was returning from a trip to China and Siberia.
