The sinking English Ark Royal aircraft carrier (HMS Ark Royal) of the Royal Navy.
Making the next delivery of fighter aircraft to Malta, the aircraft carrier Arc Royal was torpedoed on November 13, 1941 in the Mediterranean U-81 by submarine Kriegsmarine under the command of Friedrich Guggenberger, a submarine.
The struggle for the survivability of the Ark Royal aircraft carrier, which lasted more than 10 hours, did not correct the situation and the ship’s lurch continued to increase. Two hours after the approaching English destroyers took off the crew, the Ark Royal carrier sank.

On the deck of the Arc Royal aircraft carrier stand Fairey “Swordfish” torpedo bombers.
