Shopping malls in the temporary Nazi-occupied Orel city during the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet Union. Eastern Front, Second World War.
Orel is the city in Russia, located 382 kilometers south-east of Moscow, at the confluence of the Oka and Orlik rivers. October 3, 1941 Orel captured by the 4th Armored Division of the 24th Motorized Corps of the 2nd Tank Group of the German General Heinz Guderian.
August 5, 1943 the city of Orel was liberated by Soviet Red Army.
