DShK

A Soviet soldier shoots at a range from a large-caliber 12,7 mm DShK machine gun with a K-8T collimator sight mounted on a SU-152 self-propelled gun.

The ammunition to the DShK was 250 of 12.7×108 cartridges – the initial velocity of the bullet was 840 m/s. The muzzle energy is 18860 joules. SU-152 self-propelled guns received DShK machine-guns during the overhaul in 1944-1945.
