Soviet schoolchildren of the city of Molotovsk (now Severodvinsk of the Arkhangelsk region) discussions on radio speeches by Chairman of the State Defense Committee Joseph Stalin of July 3, 1941.

The Great Patriotic War against Nazi Germany began two weeks ago. The first German Luftwaffe aircraft will appear over Molotov on August 22, 1941. German airstrikes on Arkhangelsk and Molotovsk will continue from September 1941 to mid-1943.
