The Kazbiejai settlement is located next to the Alytus-Vilnius highway in the Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic.
Russian tanks in Lithuania from the 5th Tank Division of the 3rd Mechanized Corps of the 11th Army of the North-Western Front of the Red Army. Tanks were lost during the battle to contain the enemy forces during the retreat to the city of Vilnius.
