Royal Scots Greys

Scottish dragoons and an English officer of the Royal Scots Greys stand in mounted formation in the Nablus city area of Palestine during the Second World War. The photo was taken after the participation of soldiers of the regiment in hostilities in Syria and Lebanon.

Stuart light tanks subsequently entered service with the Royal Scots Greys and, after completing training, the regiment was transferred to the Libyan front in the spring of 1942.
