Rescued American sailors from the Lansdale destroyer (USS Lansdale DD-426) go ashore in one of the ports in North Africa.

Lansdale destroyer was sunk on April 20, 1944 by German aircraft (two torpedoes from Junkers Ju 88 aircraft). 119 American sailors were rescued, 49 died.
