Portrait of the pilot of the United States Marine Corps Christopher Magee (Christopher Lyman Magee, 1917-1995).
Christopher Magee served with the famous Black Sheep Squadron (VMF-214), as well as VMF-124 and VMF-911. He flew F4F Wildcat and F7F Tigercat fighters.
Christopher Magee was known for his extremely aggressive behavior in the air. He shot down 9 Japanese aircraft.
