Portrait of the senior lieutenant of the medical service of the Red Army comrade Balashov, made in the defeated Nazi Germany after the complete defeat of the Wehrmacht and the end of World War II in Europe.
P. S. Balashov (1922-1971), senior lieutenant of the medical service, commander of the sanitary platoon of the 3rd battalion of the 1208th Infantry Red Banner Regiment of the 362nd Infantry Verkhnedneprovskaya Red Banner Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov Division.
At the front, Pavel Balashov from February 1942, in April of the same year he was wounded. He fought on the Kalinin, Bryansk, 1st and 2nd Belorussian fronts.
Pavel Balashov was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War II degree and two Orders of the Red Star.

In the late 1960s, Balashov Pavel worked as the Minister of Health of the Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
