Polish cavalry

 

The Polish cavalry in the town of Sochaczew, the Battle of the Bzura. Eastern Front, the Second World War in Europe.

During the Battle of the Bzura in September 9-14, 1939, the Polish cavalry and infantry a strong counter-attack forced the German Forces go on the defensive and to reconsider its plans to attack Poland. However, following the approach of the Nazi Wehrmacht reinforcements and go on the offensive, the Polish cavalry were destroyed.
