OS2N Kingfisher

OS2U “Kingfisher” is an American reconnaissance seaplane of the Second World War, designed to be launched from ships using a catapult. Compact mid-wing monoplane with a large central float and small stabilizing floats. It could also be used with a non-retractable wheeled landing gear with a steerable wheel under the tail. Due to its weak engine it had mediocre flight characteristics.
