Brest Fortress. The defense two months kept the border guards and the 132-th separate battalion of escort troops of the NKVD. The city of Brest was hurriedly left the Red Army at 8:00 am June 22, 1941 after a battle against enemy infantry, which ferried by boat across the Bug River”.
