Monument to Ferdinand Foch

 

German officers and military nurses of the Wehrmacht at the monument to Ferdinand Foch in the Compiegne Forest during World War II and the Nazi occupation of France.
Right next to the Monument to Ferdinand Foch, the surrender of France in the war with Germany was signed (and in 1918 – the surrender of Germany in the First World War).
